The Project Manager - Guest Experience is responsible for supporting the end-to-end project plans and management for programs and initiatives that are developed and executed in stores including store operations, alterations, and innovation.  Works cross functionally with business partners to align critical business needs and organizes work streams to optimize productivity and align focuses across cross functional partners.  

Essential Functions:

  • Manage and make decisions on Guest Experience strategies and project development in partnership with project leaders.
  • Prioritize multiple projects based on business needs, resource capacity and dependencies from concept to launch.
  • Manage cross functional meetings for planning and organizing projects.  Track, record and report project milestones and deliverables by setting and continually managing expectations with partners on a daily basis to verify they are on track with project deliverable and milestones.
  • Manage pilots including implementing timelines, preparing pilot details, collecting feedback from pilot groups, preparing for chain implementations, developing and communicating materials.
  • Conducts post-project implementation debriefs and creates recommendations to identify process improvements by measuring efforts against established success metrics.
  • Advocates for change that supports high level goals, store adoption and guest experience.
  • Develop tools and best practices for project management and execution.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Certification or advanced training in project management preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years project management experience preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a program’s operations role preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a brick-and-mortar retail role preferred.

 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in MS office (Excel, Outlook, Power point, Word, SharePoint, Confluence, and JIRA)
  • Detail orientated and strong organizational skills.  Superior verbal/written communication skills.
  • Communicates and understands the brand and the vision for David’s Bridal and its business strategies and effectively communicates to business partners and the field.
  • Demonstrates the ability to manage change in an appropriate and effective manner and is a strong role model to the team.
  • Values people’s ideas and concerns and responds constructively.

 

Other Requirements:

Some travel by air/rail may be required

At David’s Bridal, it is rare for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range in their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the details and circumstances of each position and candidate. Our target pay range for this role is $70,000-93,200.
