The General Manager is responsible to define David's Bridal growth, profitability and positioning strategy of the bridal business in Mexico. Your main mission is to transform the traditional retail operation into a highly efficient omnichannel ecosystem, ensuring that operating costs remain optimized to maximize profit margin (P&L). You will be responsible for leading the brand's expansion, including the integration of new categories (couture, menswear, “quinceañera” for example) and the implementation of AI technologies for personalized customer experience.

Essential Functions: 

1. Growth and Expansion Strategy

•    Design and execute the national expansion plan, including the opening of new boutiques and the consolidation of the shop-in-shop model (e.g., alliances such as Liverpool).
•    Identify market opportunities to ensure revenue through the brand's technology platform (commissions from suppliers, planning services).
•    Positioning David's Bridal as the benchmark for inclusivity (sizes 0-30W).

2. Financial Management and Profitability (P&L):

•    Manage the country's total budget, ensuring that the Operating Cost (OPEX) is aligned with EBITDA targets.
•    Implement a profit-based compensation scheme, ensuring that sales, conversion, and expense control KPIs directly impact the profitability of the business unit.
•    Monitor inventory efficiency to reduce losses and optimize cash flow using an asset -lite model.

3. Operational and Technological Excellence:

•    Ensure the adoption of AI and CRM tools (focused on the bride's journey "Aisle to Algorithm ") to customize the sale.
•    Ensure that customer service standards (Net Promoter Score) are maintained above 80%, integrating luxury hospitality with operational efficiency.
•    Ensure the speed-to-aisle delivery.

4. Operational and Technological Excellence:

•    Lead and develop the sales team (Dream Makers ) and middle management, fostering a culture oriented towards results and performance-based rewards.
•    To serve as the main link between the local strategic partner ( Diltex Brands) and the global corporate office in the USA.

Experience: 

  • 1-2 years as Country Manager 
  • 2-4 years as Brand Manager 

Education: 

  • Economic-Administrative Field is essential 
  • Business Administrative, related field is required

  1. Intermediate Office Suite
  2. Advanced Statistics Interpretation
  3. ISO 9001 Standard
  4. Omnichannel administrative systems

 

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to communicate promptly and accurately via computer, telephone, or similar device with or without assistive technology
  • Ability to balance, bend, kneel, squat, and reach
  • Ability to perform sedentary work
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to travel by car, rail, or air (Travel is required to and from Mexico (75% of time will be allotted in Mexico)
