This is a hybrid role Sunday through Thursday work schedule is preferred.  as you will be attending monthly business reviews, quarterly hindsight meetings, work with merchant and planning partner.

The Manager, Data & Analytics is responsible for the development of reporting to support the analysis and recommendations that underpin informed short-term and long-range decision making by senior management to optimize sales opportunities and assess risks in planning/allocation/merchandising.  Contributes to multiple cross functional business teams as well as being the planning/allocation/merchandise liaison with IT.  She/he is ultimately responsible for overseeing the production of key business reports and analytics.
 
Essential Functions

As business needs require, provide accurate, complete planning/allocation/merchandising business intelligence reporting including analysis and recommendations. Provide thought leadership for the Planning organization
  • Oversee production of key business reporting and report development tools for all planning/allocation/merchandising users, including key reporting to the CEO and senior management team.
  • Assist planning/allocation/merchandising senior management with the design of actionable business reporting.
  • Identify new planning/allocation/merchandising requirements for reporting and data availability. Lead partner with IT on solutions to support the needs of the business.
  • Partner with Vice President, Planning and Inventory Management and IT in system projects – be the lead for system projects for the Planning organization.
  • Partners with Finance, Marketing as well as Merchandising teams.
  • Develops innovative data analysis methods to derive business insights from large datasets.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Years of related experience: 5 - 10 years
  • Required skills & abilities: advanced Excel capabilities, data analytics, MicroStrategy, Snowflake, Hyperion, SAP, Access

At David’s Bridal, it is rare for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range in their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the details and circumstances of each position and candidate.
