This position is local/hybrid, and in-office expectations are usually a couple days a month centered around meetings that involve viewing product. Two  times during the year, our Spring and Fall buys, more in-office days than usual will be required.

The Associate Demand Planner works in pre-production planning and inventory management to create and execute future week/month/season fulfillment plans by identifying variances between historical and projected product performance.   The Associate Demand Planner is responsible for working independently in a smaller volume area of business with the guidance of a more senior member of the demand planning team and works proactively with cross-functional teams of merchandise planners, buyers, and merchandise operations.

Essential Functions:

  • Partner with merchants and planners on replenishment strategies and methods, projections, re-orders and open-to-buy.
  • In partnership with the planners and planning managers, provide input to the receipt plans.
  • Analyze and maintain volume groups and store selections for replenishment.
  • Manage product from vendor-production planning to distribution center to store or direct to store through proper set up and maintenance of replenishment and allocation system; provide projections to joint business partners.
  • Provide all size breaks for style replenishment.
  • Manage order flow and exceptions to meet customer commitments.
  • Responsible for maintaining all customer LTs for all choices.
  • Responsible for delivering customer orders in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with several teams both internally and externally.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or 2 plus years’ experience.

Work Experience:

  • 2 plus years related experience in demand planning, allocation or order fulfillment

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and relationship building skills. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Experience in Micro Strategy a plus

In-office Requirements:

  • Local/hybrid with in-office expectation 2-3 days/month

At David’s Bridal, it is rare for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range in their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the details and circumstances of each position and candidate.
