Summer Styling & Studio Intern – Wedding Fashion Photo Shoots

Are you passionate about fashion, styling, and behind-the-scenes creativity? We’re looking for a temporary summer intern to join our in-house photo studio team at our King of Prussia location. This hands-on role is perfect for someone eager to gain experience in fashion merchandising and photo shoot production. You’ll assist with styling product looks, prepping merchandise, coaching models, organizing studio operations, and coordinating with buyers for product pickups and returns. If you're detail-oriented, love bridal fashion, and can work on-site 20–25 hours a week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and occasional Mondays), we’d love to hear from you!



Looking for a temporary - intern interested in helping to style photo shoots for a wedding retailer. Must be able to travel to King of Prussia to be on-site in our in-house photo studio. Responsibilities will include assisting our studio and merchandising teams with product looks and photography shoots, helping to prepare product for shoots, coaching models, organizing studio operations, coordinating pick up and drop off of product with the buyers.

 

Essential Functions:
• Support in-house AI Lead/Retouching Manager through assisting on all e-commerce and content photography shoots, both still life and on-model. Ensure samples are cared for, organized, prepped, and accounted for on a regular basis as each style is packed and or unpacked amongst designated teams.
• Assist with weekly product turnover process: managing styling notes from merchandising teams in File Maker documents, update File Maker notes as needed, and communicate with buyers regarding issues or concerns with styles passed to studio. As well as working alongside Studio Manager and delegating week to week processes.
• Oversee all product prep, including steaming, cleaning, and making sure all necessary props are merchandised with styles turned over to studio. Assist in organizing the studio space by making sure all the necessary tools and supplies are available, continually updating accessories closet as well as updating and maintaining the prop closet.
• Assist Studio Manager with sample collection, prop organization and prep.
• Focus on AI/Looklet PDP and tabletop product photography, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand standards.
• Assist with on-figure editorial photography to ensure high-quality, brand-aligned visuals.
• Stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in AI
• Other duties as assigned.

 

Education:
• High school degree required. Working on or recently completed Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merch or Design preferred.

 

Work Experience:
• 1-3 years of styling experience preferred; no experience necessary


Skills:
• Creative / artistic abilities paired with strong problem-solving skills and impeccable attention to detail and timelines.
• Previous experience putting together sets is a plus.
• Strong sense of urgency, with an ability to multitask, problem solve, and prioritize a variety of shoots and visual projects under tight deadlines and budgets with limited supervision.
• Genuine, proactive, enthusiastic; hands on and organized, with an adaptive, goal-oriented team member sensibility.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Relevant training in AI, or related fields are a plus.

 

Must be able to move and lift up to 40lbs
