The Senior Digital Marketing Specialist & Strategist will play a key role in driving the development and execution of cutting-edge CRM strategies, with a core emphasis on Email and SMS marketing. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing customer engagement, boosting retention rates, and driving revenue growth through personalized, data-driven campaigns. This position is central to the success of our CRM and loyalty programs, helping to shape the overall customer experience and brand loyalty at David’s Bridal. The ideal candidate will have a forward-thinking mindset and a strong background in Email and SMS marketing.
 
Key Responsibilities:
    •    Strategic CRM Campaign Development: Design, implement, and optimize personalized Email and SMS marketing strategies aimed at retaining existing customers, fostering brand loyalty, and expanding David’s Bridal’s brand presence.
    •    Platform Expertise & Innovation: Leverage deep knowledge of Email and SMS platforms to guide strategic decision-making, ensuring the effective use of platform capabilities. Identify future opportunities for deployment and innovation, staying ahead of industry trends.
    •    Campaign Management & Execution: Oversee the entire lifecycle of Email and SMS/MMS campaigns—from assisting with brief writing and asset management to subscriber segmentation, A/B testing, QA, deployment scheduling, and performance analysis. Ensure all campaigns are optimized for maximum effectiveness and proper rendering across devices.
    •    Data-Driven Insights & Optimization: Utilize CRM data to identify and develop detailed customer personas, segments, and journey maps. Analyze campaign performance data to provide actionable insights that drive continuous improvement in engagement metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, and overall campaign ROI.
    •    Calendar & Journey Management: Help maintain and optimize calendars for marketing email and SMS cadence, journey workflows, and trigger-based automations. Ensure timely updates and enhancements are made to improve campaign relevance and effectiveness.
    •    Compliance & Best Practices: Stay informed on industry regulations, including CAN-SPAM and CASL, ensuring all campaigns comply with legal requirements. Maintain awareness of email and mobile marketing trends, as well as the competitive landscape, to keep David's Bridal at the forefront of digital marketing innovation.
    •    Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including Creative, IT, and Analytics, to align marketing strategies with business goals. Provide strategic feedback on daily marketing executions and automated workflows.
    •    Continuous Learning & Innovation: Maintain an ongoing commitment to professional development by keeping up with the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing. Recommend and implement new tools, technologies, or processes that enhance efficiency and personalization in CRM programs.
 
Qualifications:
    •    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
    •    Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Email and SMS marketing, with a proven track record of designing and executing successful CRM campaigns.
    •    Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM tools and platforms. Strong understanding of data segmentation, dynamic content, and A/B testing methodologies. Experience with Bluecore and Attentive specifically is a plus.
    •    Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with experience in data-driven decision-making. Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that drive marketing strategy.
    •    Project Management: Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
    •    Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
    •    Innovation & Initiative: A self-starter with a strong sense of initiative, able to work independently and proactively identify areas for improvement and innovation within the CRM strategy.

Travel Requirements:
    •    Minimal Travel Required (1 – 2 times per year).

This base pay range of 62,400k - 93,600k is specific to the state this role is posted in and may not be applicable to other locations. At David’s Bridal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range in their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the details and circumstances of each position and candidate. Our target budget high for this role is 78k.
