The Manager, Photography Studio will contribute to the organization’s success by managing all operational components of the David’s Bridal photography and photo studio asset creation process and execution across all brand initiatives and in alignment with cross-functional team and stakeholders.

Essential Functions:


·        Establish and maintain processes and standards for all studio-based photography and ensuring that team members are trained and consistently adhering to set and meet these processes and standards.

·        Manage all aspects of photo studio operations (fashion, still, video) and continue to highlight opportunity and action on refinement of process with focus on efficiency and cross channel communications alongside the marketing operations team.

·        Build and communicate all production and schedules for photography and video assets, including but not limited to creative and product needs in both internal and affiliated, off-site studios. 

·        Support marketing operations, PR, visual styling on photography-based deliverables.

·        Coordinate creative and product shoots (in-studio, on location and via influencer) in partnership with marketing operations, PR/Social, visual styling, merchants, and planning based on deliverable timelines and sample availability).

·        In partnership with Head of Brand Marketing + Operations, establish and manage photo production budget, including building processes to forecast + estimate costs for: props, photography equipment, external talent, and retouching support, as needed across the fiscal year.

·        Support the retouching team with scheduling based on priorities of product launches and creative content deadlines.  Highlight and recommend how to flex resources when additional support is required to maximize workflow and ensure on-time deliverables.

·        Participate in launch and planning meetings together with internal clients, creative partners, and operation team members.

·        Communicate project and operational challenges with proposed solutions to mitigate risks to schedule and quality in a timely manner.

·        Lead talent onboarding and experience process development and execution across all parties, inclusive of Friends + Family, paid and agency support.




·        Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required.


Work Experience:


·        3-5 years’ experience in digital or social project management and studio operations

·        Organization and Project Budget development plus management experience.

·        Workload/shot forecasting.

·        Photoshoot planning and production.

·        Cross functional team leadership and management.

·        Strategic planning and execution.




      Business Acumen:  


·        Ability to read, analyze and interpret/synthesize information from multiple sources

·        Strong knowledge of the production process for emails, landing pages, home pages, social and paid digital advertising, and print collateral. 

·        Strong knowledge of Microsoft office, Outlook, and Adobe CS. 

·        Preferred knowledge of Project Management Software.

·        Highly organized individual who is self-directed yet works well in a team

·        Ability to create master timelines that outline key milestones from planning to execution

·        Ability to be flexible, multi-task, & prioritize/manage multiple responsibilities. 

·        Strong focus on timelines and deliverables & possess a strong sense of urgency to work in a fast-paced environment.

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability lead and drive a project team from goals set while diplomatically leading to achieve all aligned outcomes

·        Ability to define problems, collect information and present recommendations to leader team and peers

·        Effective problem-solving & decision-making skills.
