As a Graphic Designer you will work independently and collaboratively with other creative team members to concept and execute creative deliverables. Your job will be to translate business objectives into innovative design concepts. You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, managing projects from concept through to completion, ensuring all deadlines and high-quality work levels are met, jumping between projects and prioritizing when necessary. 
 
As the Graphic Designer you should also be able to give constructive criticism as well as, receive critiques with a positive attitude.  Must be able to work offsite with proficiency and efficiency when required.
 
Essential Functions:
  • Design, organize, and execute all store-related assets; promotions, signage, packaging, display and marketing materials as well as, in-house communication and event-based materials under the direction of the Design Director.
  • Create unified, cross-channel, merchandise-driven campaigns with a focus on branding and strong customer facing deliverables through lens of seasonal print deliverables.
  • Contribute to design concepts that keep the integrity of the David’s brand and its ability to live in multiple deliverables in print and digital
  • l Work closely with the copy, photo, marketing, visual design and production partners to maximize unified design direction across the brand and deliver high quality final products.
  • Document style guidelines and grid systems specifications to ensure consistency across the brand. Work with design team members and director to create and implement systems to enhance the experience of the brand creative.
  • Research appropriate trends and methods to help ensure designs incorporate a modern aesthetic.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
Work Experience:
  • 3 - 5 years related experience.
Skills:
  • Fluency in industry standard software suites (Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator are a must).
  • Strong typography skills.
  • Strong conceptualization skills.
  • Strong compositional skills.
  • Production knowledge and ability to create print-ready files. 
  • Ability to manage several projects.
  • Efficiency and organizational skills are a must.
Travel Requirements:
  • Minimal Travel Required (1 - 2 times per year).
