Purpose:

The Order Fulfillment Assistant is responsible for data entry and completing assignments related to the processing, fulfillment, and resolution of special orders.


Essential Functions:

Communicate via email with overseas vendor regarding special requests, customer orders, purchase orders, etc.25%

Co-manage the backlog process in partnership with buyers and the backlog team.

Meet with buyers on a bi-weekly basis to review order fulfillment issues, to make item setting recommendations to buyers, and to determine corrective action to remedy any out-of-stock situation on SKUs. 20%

Generate, confirm, and modify non-replenishment purchase orders 15%

Update customer orders, re-route and modify as needed to improve on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. 15%

Proactively identify potential fulfillment challenges and make appropriate recommendations to remediate the situation.10%

Assist with testing new systems and communicate issues and enhancements to management team.10%

Attend and represent order fulfillment in cross functional meetings as assigned or when Supervisor, Order Fulfillment is not available.5%

Qualifications – Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (required or preferred):

Education: Associates Degree or related work experience

Licenses / Certifications / Training::Click or tap here to enter text.

Years of Related Experience:1 -2 years retail, knowledge of supply chain preferred

Required Skills & Abilities:Strong attention to detail, ability to work effectively under tight timelines, skillful in the execution of processes and procedures, strong organizational skills, capacity to learn computer systems, takes ownership and a possesses a strong sense of urgency , ability to be flexible and shift priorities when needed, ability to build effective partnerships with key internal partners. Strong customer service orientation

Travel Requirements: Minimal Travel Required (1 - 2 x per year)


Other Requirements: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
